AC MILAN: Champs of UEFA Champions League 06/07
Congratulations to AC Milan for their victory. Undeservedly At last champions again for the 7th time! My heart was with both teams so either ending was a happy ending (Liverpool’s would be a happier one though~).
DCF & Bi-weeklies.
With the advent of Dragonscage Fund (or DCF), we now have moolah (or known as money to some)! Yes we do. Since we have plans of turning the cage into bi-weekly sessions (Sunday mornings / Wednesday evenings) the moolah will definitely come in handy.
Of course, dissension may arise as from those that don’t make it to the Wednesday evening event, having contributed to DCF yet not able to participate for its events. This need be tied up before we commit, right guys?
And does it matter if DCOL is dragonscage.mar.sg or www.dragonscage.com? Will require some inputs on that fellas. You may wish to include me via MSN (googooboyy[AT]hotmail.com) or ICQ-UIN (816–2988).
Succeed in Dragonscage with Hardwork, knowledge and attitude!
What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those games where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in Dragonscage? Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions: If: A to Z is represented as 1 to 26. Then: H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K is 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98% and K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E is 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96% But, A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E is 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100% And, B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T is 2+21+12+12+19+8+9+20 = 103% AND, look how far ass kissing will take you. A-S-S-K-I-S-S-I-N-G is 1+19+19+11+9+19+19+9+14+7 = 118% So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that While Hard work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, it's the Bullshit and Ass kissing that will put you over the top and score more than just goals.
Presenting....
Okay so you saw the new logo already. Nice right? Bow down to El-Farido people! For soon, you’ll be wearing this logo (his creation) on your chests when you gallop inside the cage! Yup, we’re making T-Shirts baby! More info on this later on.
But first, view the bigger version of the logo here (opens new window). All comments are welcomed.
A little update.
First and foremost, thanks Farid for the extensive efforts in churning out the Dragons' Cage logo and no, the logo you see on top of this page isn't the real one. That's a 5 minute quickie. Anyway, its unfortunate that the logo can't yet be put up for the mass but I assure you its an excellent design! Who'd knew Farid were that talented? In any case, here's the old link that Farid put up earlier: logo linkHopefully we'll come to terms with the official logo soon so that our T-shirt will really look much better with a cool logo. Till then, cya tomorrow at NIE! Remember bring friends and balls (pun intended)!
Dragonspeakers
And so there was mentioned about the need for Rawking Beats to groove to during our Sunday Morning session. What better to pump those tunes than through our very own dragon speakers! No I’m not kiddin. This isn’t photoshop nor my silly creations. Its actually taken fron a website somewhere which I cannot remember already, but since its theme is dragon-ish, why not? Only problem being how the hell do we get it? Anyway, with the north and south pole of our cage ‘protected’ by these dragons, lets hope the action will get that little bit more boost!
The final message.... NOT!
First off, thanks to all that came… late! We’d almost got kicked out of our cage – if it were not for Bob’s quick wits in getting the receipts!! 3 cheers for Bob! Hip Hip.. (Hooray~) Hip Hip.. (Hooray~)
Okay, so it was hot, not the extreme kind, but the help-my-skin-is-burning-but-I-can-take-it kind of hot. Plenty of the DC regulars came plus a cameo appearance from long time veteran, Fauzan! Now, where’d he been all these while? Also making their virgin appearance were 2 newcomers. One is a Malaysian, the other is a Chinese national. Thanks for coming dudes!
As expected, exams’ end meant more guys chasing one ball in the cage and when you have 16 pretty players going for 1 pretty ball, its pretty hard to play pretty football. And the pretty scene was marred by Ahmad Sol’s reckless challenge on El-Farido, erupting like a Spartan that’s deprived of bloody battles. Even Siva’s mood soured when Luqman ousted him off the ball with a little bit more force than desired.
But but but but but but but but but but all ends well as the beautiful game continued and the day was capped by a couple of beauty goals, scored by… damn, I’d forgotten already! Oh well, till the next session aights~
(PS: I take this opportunity to congratulate Man United and their fans for wining the English Permiere League. We all know that they’ve been deserving champions and is the best team in England….. NOT! Hahahahaha…!)
For DC's (Dragons' Cage) Sake...
So much for the ‘Sirens’ to make an appearance. For 3rd week running, they were no-shows. But all’s well as football is still enjoyed at the Dragons’ Cage. Let’s see.. a recap of what’s happened in the past weeks: 1) Lumberjacks have appeared to be the Dudek of DC(Dragons’ Cage) with an unprecedented antics plus magnifiicient saves, and still making tights look cool for a keeper. 2) Abg Mar has been a stream of burning lava! Too hot to handle as he bangs in goals after goals (especially during Labour Day’s episode) and earning the nickname ‘The Ultimate Striker’. 3) Najmi and Zaki have been dedicatedly putting in 110% into their game every time they step into the courts and deserves a shoutout. 4) El Farido La Strikerio have been taking shots without scoring it seems. The Magician needs a new gameplan! 5) The sun have been shying away for the 2nd week running. DC has been blessed with excellent footballing weather indeed! 6) Exams have taken its toll on the participation of DC. At last count, only 17 cool dudes turned up. But there’s still hope as the school holidays draw near. Okay, so this Sunday the 6th will be another day, another game. Please come early as we’ve witnessed an invasion of some sorts from guys of another hall. So to avoid disappointment, do come early! And for DC’s sake, pls reply to BOB’s sms! Thank you!
