EPL review
Now what’s up with Newcastle? Did they think they could simply overrun Arsenal over with a swashbuckling display of attacking prowess with the likes of Owen, Smith, N’Zogbia and Milner? Bah. They should have defended resolutely and go on the counter, but no, they were stubborn and paid the price. In fact, the league paid the price as Arsenal extended their lead at the top again. Now whoose bet is there against Arsenal lifting the title? Let’s not talk about Liverpool’s title chances le…
Of course, Man Utd and Chelsea still have a say in it, and by EPL’s standards, Chelsea have been quietly, really really quietly going on about it. Avram Grant is turning into a shrewd manager. Less word, more points indeed.
And Newcastle desperately needs a heavyweight in the middle of the park. Or they’ll swashbuckle their way into the championship instead of the UEFA cups.
N where are you guys? Attendance barely meeting our weekly standards, its getting scary to say that each session is confirmed! Dragonscage needs you! Dragonscage needs a new ball even more! Bring your friends and balls, the more the merrier! Cometh and join us!
Building A Better Sunday Afternoon
The last 2 sessions were attended by, surprisingly, only 16 healthy individuals. Perhaps, work, school, girlfriends, market, cats, stolen bikes or naggy sisters might have prevented our regulars from coming. Nevertheless, disappointed undeterred and unflinching, the spirit of DragonsCage filled our Sunday morning aptly.
Starting next session, Dragonscage’s sessions will require confirmation of attendance as we wouldn’t want to be playing with 10 or 12 players only. Minimum 16 replies before a session is confirmed by Bob.
Also, anyone interested in joining us on your Sunday morning, feel free to contact Bob at 91079710 and include yourself into our list. Membership fees aren’t compulsory but we do request for donations towards the DragonsCage Funds towards our ‘Building a better Sunday afternoon campaign’ by securing gloves, balls and booking of courts (if necessary).
