World Bodies Celebrate Alfredo Di Stefano
One of world soccer's finest ever exponents, the incomparable Alfredo Di Stefano, received a special president's award from UEFA president Michel Platini this weekend at a heartfelt ceremony of appreciation at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Yeah, right. Pfft. Then we want EPL games at Jalan Besar Stadium!
Yeah, right. Pfft.

10th February 2007 - Where is the love?
Its 4 more days till Valentine’s Day, but no love was lost between the players as crunching two footed lounges flew occasionally, arms whacking the chests, kicks clashing unconditionally and of course the mishap of the day befell Ashar as the ball hit his fingers causing him to collapse in a heap before limping away from the cage. Will you still love us?
But it sure hell was fun, when for the first time, Farid had the sense, ahem, to bring a wall clock for the sake of proper timing – in view of the recent fiasco of false timing in an effort by palyers to kick a team out of the cage. Thanks for the clock Farid. We love you for that.
And not mysteriously, players turned up really late for the cage which caused the session to drag over till almost 3pm!!! Players are still coming in as the clock hands pointed past 11am. And of course, the non dubious award of the latest late-comer goes to, tekk tekk tekk, AHMAD SAW! Congrats to you for being Dragonscage’s perpetual late comer. We still love you for that.
Finally, the hot topic lingering over everyone’s lips as they enter the cage – “Who be keeper?” shall be debated. PLEASE VOLUNTEER YOURSELVES AS THE KEEPER EVEN IF YOU ARE F@#*@!@G LOUSY SO THAT YOU GAIN IMMUNITY AND DON”T HAVE TO BE KEEPER FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. I’m glad I let that out. But we still love you even if you’re not the keeper.

Chinese New Year - 07 February 2008
GONG XI FA CAI!!!
Yes, yes, its the new year of the lunar calendar but no, we’re not letting go of the chance for a session over at Dragonscage this holiday season.
In fact, attendance was good (if you compare all the recent sessions), and plenty of us managed to receive all-round action, accompanied with plenty of music too – curtesy of Mar’s mini-burger boom box!
We would have liked to continue for another session, but we’re humans after all, and we thank all that came EARLY (read this Ahmad, EARLY) for a wholesome session.
The next session, tentatively this Sunday, 10th February 2008.
No, there’s no ang baos, but expect more action, more music and goals galore!
Happy Holidays~!

So much potent?
As usual, Middlesbrough kept up their spending spree with the aim of getting into the big 4 of the EPL. We all know who the big 4 really are? Arsenal, Man Yoo, Chelsea and Spurs. Yeah, you wished, you dreaming spurs fans.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have signed strikers Benjani Mwaruwari and Felipe Caicedo in an attempt to topple league-leaders and defending champion and sneak in for the title this May. And we all know that with Benjani’s work rate and Caicedo, Adriano’s twin that never was, Mancity is indeed a force to be reckon with.
And of course, the question that entails every speculator’s tongue, like when will Benitez get sacked or when will Daniel Alves be brought over will never get answered for now. Liverpool, and I’ve said this somewhere somehow, with so much potential, has so little potent at the moment.
It is a sad era indeed. So much promise unfulfilled and if ever there was an award for most underachieving Premiere League team, Liverpool will win it hands down. Maybe they’ll finish 5
th this season. BUT wait, didn’t they win the Champions League and finished 5
th back then?
