June 7th.
Did you know that there will be a street soccer tourney on June the 7
th? Organised by NTU (or wassit NIE?) the tourney’s opening age is 13years old (yeah we could play with them rite?) and the fee per team of 5–6 players is $50.
Now I’m not sure where the forms are right now (I’m forgetful..) but if anyone’s interested, please alert us.
Will DC be dorming 2 or maybe 3 teams? Who knows…
Get your asses down this Sunday, and get into the crunch.
Bring lots of drinks, cos the vending machine has been stolen by the nearby apes in the nearby jungle!
$0.50 to DC Fund!
Amazingly the turn out for last Sunday’s dragonscage session was really really good!
The crowd was aplenty, drinks and tumblers were abound, on-pitch actions were charged up, but sadly the goals were drying up!
On a day when both teams will have to leave the pitch when no goals are scored, only two hit the back of the net during the normal cage session, i.e excluding the last game and first game.
But still, the turnout leaves plenty to cheer for and we’ll be expecting a similar attendance this weekend, if not better!
Please do kindly and charitably raise $0.50 so Bob can cover the purchase of the new gloves, as well as purchase syrup for the tumblers even!
Oh, and bring friends and balls!
Pre-Vesak Day
It was a dry dry and heaty morning, follwoed by a solid afternoon but the day belonged to a certain 16year old. A certain young player of the year. The day belonged to Irsyad.
Once again, showing why the talented 16year old cannot be taken lightly, Irsyad took dragonscage on with his deft finishing touches.
ONE IMPORTANT thing to note today, was the disappearance of the vending machine.
Why? Why the vending machine?
It left some of us contemplating dialing 67773777 and get macdonalds to bring us some beverages.
Perhaps tomorrow we’ll do that. Yes, there’s dragonscage, probably, on the morning of Vesak’s Day.
See you soon.
